Daniel Aubrey’s DARK ISLAND shortlisted for two awards

DKW are delighted to announce that Daniel Aubrey’s debut novel Dark Island has been shortlisted for the Bloody Scotland Debut Prize 2024  and for the inaugural McDermid Debut Award, as part of the Theakston Old Peculiar Crime Writing Festival! Stay tuned for the winners to be revealed later this summer!

Dark Island was published by HarperNorth on 25th April 2024 and rights have sold in the following languages so far: Czech (Bourdon), French (JC Lattes), Russian (AST), Swedish (Lind & Co), Ukrainian (Laboratory).
