We’re very excited to be welcoming Calum McSwiggan to DKW as Ella’s newest client! Calum McSwiggan is an LGBT+ writer and advocate who is passionate about gender and sexuality, queer politics, and LGBT+ history. Known for his written blog and successful YouTube channel Eat Gay Love, Calum has a highly engaged audience base on social media and ranks in the top 100 most influential figures of the global rainbow power list. He is working on a non-fiction project documenting his experiences travelling as a gay man. The book will have all the familiar musings of a travel memoir – love, friendship, adventure, and sex – but it will also strike deeper at the heart of the issues that affect the LGBT+ communities. These issues are explored through the real life characters who bring them to life – from a teenage Italian boy subjected to homophobia from his father, to a self- identified ladyboy struggling with her gender identity in Thailand, and a young homeless boy battling with HIV on the streets of London.
