DKW are completely thrilled to be welcoming award-winning author Emma Pass to the agency, with Ella taking on her representation!
Emma’s YA novels Acid and The Fearless were published by Random House Children’s Publishing, and both received nominations for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. Acid won the 2014 North East Teenage Book Award, was longlisted for the Branford Boase Award, and shortlisted for the Coventry Inspiration Award, the Doncaster Book Award and a silver Inky Award in Australia. Both books have also been published by Delacorte in the US. She is co-founder of Author Allsorts, a popular blog showcasing over 50 UK-based children’s and YA authors and illustrators, and co-organiser of the UKYA and UKMG Extravaganzas, regional events which bring authors and readers together to celebrate UK children’s and YA literature.
She is now working on a new action/adventure middle-grade novel with sci fi elements in which twelve year old Toby must time-travel in order to save his worst enemy from a sinister organisation which is stealing people’s time. It’s a fantastic, fast-paced, clever story with wonderful characters and so much heart, that Ella couldn’t help but fall in love!
